Roth Staffing is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer within the medical technologies firm for our client in Irvine, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global leader in life-saving medical devices with a strong corporate culture and competitive pay.

Job Title: Engineer II
Duration: 6 months contract
Location: Irvine, CA (Need local candidates who can work onsite)
Hourly Pay Rate: $42-45/HR on W2

Duties:
Engineer II, Validation, Advanced Engineering & Commercialization
This is a great opportunity for an Engineer II, Validation Engineer on the Advanced Engineering & Commercialization team. The position will be focusing on validations for new equipment and upgrades.  The Engineer will work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with multiple teams.
*    Manages all aspects of assigned validation projects
*    Tracks projects and holds to project timelines
*    Follows established validation procedures
*    Develops validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ, SWV)
*    Executes protocols and testing on equipment
*    Summarizes results and writes validation reports (IQ, OQ, PQ, SWV)
*    Routes validation documents through approval process
*    Collaborates with Production, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and other functions on validation related issues
 
Skills
*    Knowledge of Equipment and Process Validation best practices
*    Experience developing validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ, SWV)
*    Must be able to work effectively and collaborate with cross functional teams
*    Must be able to effectively articulate (verbally and in writing) results and conclusions to technical and non-technical personnel
*    Must have strong documentation skills and attention to detail
*    Knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
*    Must take initiative and have the ability to conduct hands-on work
*    Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks with high attention to detail
*    Experienced with manufacturing equipment is preferred

Education/Experience
*    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field required with four years' experience Required, med device experience is preferred but open to aerospace and automotive
*    If Master's Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Scientific field, two years' experience would be required
*    If Ph.D. or equivalent in Engineering or Scientific field, one year of industry/education experience would be required
