Job description
We have an opening in our Roseville office for a full-time Medical Billing Administrator! Full benefits! Great culture!
  • Responsible for activities involved with medical billing (submission of the claim to medical claims to federal, state and private insurance)
  • Following up on the claim for payment, over payment and payment from Family contribution
  • Responding to inquiries regarding the claim and documentation of interactions
  • Work collaboratively with the medical service staff 
  • Ensures that all claims are submitted accurately
  • Attain and maintain proficient working knowledge of customer relations system (Salesforce), Microsoft Office products, and other supporting databases
  • Review all incoming medical mail and route accordingly
  • Respond timely to customer inquiries sent via e-mail, mail, fax, chat or over the phone
  • Keep records through completing detailed data entry
  • Performs follow up on claims to verify that they have been received, and paid timely
  • Coordinate A/R collections, address denials and non-payments in a timely manner
  • Work with daily and monthly reports to keep billing current and accurate based on management's defined expectations
  • Identify and correct billing issues and work collaboratively across different teams to implement business line improvements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • 2+ years in collections and/or medical billing
  • Must work well with others and willing to collaborate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
