Job description
Ledgent Technology is seeking a Network Engineer (Contract-to-Hire) responsible for architecting and maintaining the network and communications abilities across 200 sites in North America. This role also has duties for network and enterprise security systems.  This is a Contract-to-Hire role!

What you'll be doing:
  • Create, Manage, Monitor, and ensure reliable network and communications across the business
  • Control and mitigate security profiles and threats across the enterprise
  • Lead Network and Security projects across the enterprise
  • Participate and lead projects involving acquisitions of new business as well as supporting existing sites that move to a new location
  • Coordinate and Work with strategic partners in the performance of their responsibilities
  • Analyze their work and deliver insights into the organization. For example, recognize security threats, bring them to the awareness of the business, and present reduction alternatives

What you'll bring to the table:
  • Proven Experience of Cisco equipment, including firewalls, routers, and switches
  • Working knowledge Cisco unified communications phone systems
  • Illustrated ability to lead enterprise-level projects
  • Capability to evaluate and document a situation
  • Examine issues and drive to an appropriate solution
  • Solid understanding of operational principles
  • Sharp communication skills in person and over the phone
  • Capacity to grasp new concepts with a strong desire to learn 

Education
 College Graduate (or equivalent in experience)
 Cisco Network Certifications
