Top Skills: 
  • Must have experience within a regulated Industry such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Medical Device, etc. 
  • Hands on experience with Hyper-V and/or VMWare are essential 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or 5+ years equivalent experience is required 
Responsibilities: 
  • Performs in the role of Data Center technologies SME (Subject Matter Expert) to provide technical expertise to peers, management, other information technology teams as well as our Members
  • Act as a technical escalation point and provides Level 3 support for any issues and requests coming from the Service Desk
  • Actively monitors the systems health across all Network sites and identifies and proposes solutions to potential problems/issues before they happen
  • Field incoming help requests from Members, Team Members and monitoring alerts ensuring that the Incident Management System is kept up to date.
  • Leverages existing and emerging technologies to develop solutions to improve the performance of the overall systems infrastructure
  • Establishes a healthy infrastructure by evaluating systems performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency
  • Continuous development and improvement of Infrastructure policies and procedures and ensuring they are put into practice and followed by the team
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Manage projects and day to day service requests in tandem
Qualifications: 
  • 3 - 5 years corporate experience (installation, configuration and support)
  • Proficient with converged compute/storage technologies
  • Working knowledge of Group Policy, DNS, Active Directory, DHCP with the ability to re design if needed
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies including but not limited to WSUS, SharePoint, Office365, and SCCM
  • Understanding of load balancing technologies
  • Experience with backup and restore technologies and procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple, often competing, priorities and tasks and follow through to completion on strict deadlines
  • Ability to use discretion and judgment in evaluating problems and creating solutions for Members
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users, including non-technical users
  • Committed to providing clear and concise documentation
  • Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work late hours as needed during site build outs, major outages, or projects
  • Technical, analytical and interpersonal skills required
  • Abstract thinking and the ability to work independently when required
  • Must work well with a team
  • Experience with Data Center technologies, vendor management, server operating system, and Implementations
