Our client in Waltham, Ma, a Medical device company is looking for an Office/HR Manager.
The Human Resource/Office Manager is responsible for acquiring, developing and retaining
employees. You will be in charge of maintaining and enhancing the organizations human
resource policies, programs and practices. Expectations will require for extra emphasis on
developing the skill sets of current employees through the use of innovative programs,
technology and various advanced tools.
In addition, a portion of the candidate's responsibilities will include, Office Manager. This will
require the running of an efficient, orderly work environment as well as assisting with meetings
and visitors to the office, as needed.
While holding this position you will follow and promote the company's core values and conduct
yourself with friendly, helpful professionalism toward Customers, Coworkers, and Business
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. It is
expected that you actively:
Acquire new employees by scheduling and attending academic job fairs, posting on
social media and reaching out to industry experts.
Developing employees by conducting job trainings, personal development and
Retain employees by instituting job satisfaction initiatives, ensuring compensation and
benefits are competitive in the industry and overseeing financial retention initiatives i.e.
Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying
and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to
management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating
benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational
programs on benefit programs.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource
federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records;
representing the organization at hearings.
Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human
resource policies and procedures.
Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system;
keeping past and current records
Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning
employees; following up on work results.
Handle facility requirements with regard to interfacing with landlord, facility
improvements, alarm, and phones, as well as some other basic administrative duties
This is a permanent opportunity with a salary range of up to $90K or dependent upon experience.
Working hours: M-F 8-5PM
