Position Summary:

The Onboarding Manager is responsible for managing and leading the Onboarding Specialists and partnering with hiring managers, business unit leaders and program stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective onboarding outcomes. This individual must effectively plan and prioritize tasks based upon workload, including the analysis of hiring demands, time to clear, clearing percentages, and meeting client deadlines. The Onboarding Manager must also maintain exceptional working relationships with internal and external customers - candidates, the field staff, corporate hiring managers and decision makers. This position is charged with engaging innovative techniques to effective onboard a high-volume of candidates efficiently, developing strategies to fulfill client program needs and performance management strategies.

Position Qualifications:


• Two or four-year degree in HR, business administration or related field preferred


• Experience managing performance of teams in high-volume output roles


• Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders


• Ability to think critically about processes, workflows, system set-up and communications


• Experience with ATS or HRIS systems, running and analyzing reports and utilizing excel to present metrics or data


• Strong comprehension skills for understanding needs and concerns and developing and applying solutions


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Ability to formulate and implement appropriate employee development program for direct reports

Position Duties:


• Manage and develop the Onboarding Specialists


• Effectively collaborate with recruiting and hiring managers and ensure all projects are filled within contract compliance


• Lead team to deliver a positive and supportive candidate experience


• Regularly assess workflows and processes to ensure a productive hiring experience


• Regularly audit process and system data to ensure accurate loading of new hires


• Ensure compliance with all hiring regulations


• Manage onboarding vendor relations and systems


• Review and manage to hiring metrics including time to clear and percent of cleared candidates


• Participate in periodic meetings as necessary to support the business activities


• Weekend support may be requested during high activity and program blitz times


• Occasional travel may be required


• Willing to perform multiple and varied responsibilities as required


• Must be able to travel as needed by vehicle, locally by vehicle and/or nationally by plane

Working Environment

Office and retail store environments; Corporate Offices of Company and/or home office of employee. Home office space with high-speed internet connectivity is required
