The Patient Care Assistant is responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse. PCA's perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient.
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS Certification
- CPI required within 3 months of hire date
Minimum one year experience using medical terminology
Prior experience as a patient care assistant/nursing aide in a hospital setting required
