Ledgent is seeking a Payroll Clerk/HR Assistant to join our client in Sandy, OR. This is a great opportunity to join a family-owned company that cares about their employees and values work/life balance. Upon hire this role has a great compensation and benefits package including insurance, PTO, 401k with match and profit sharing. 

  • Coordinate and submit company's semi-monthly payroll
  • Process benefit reconciliations, invoice management, and monthly benefit payments 
  • Coordinate employees onboarding process including payroll setup, email and account setup, drug screening, background checks and benefits
  • Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment
  • Update employee info across all HR platforms
  • Maintain compliance postings at all locations
  • Assist with worker's comp claims
  • Maintain HR flings
  • Coordinate training sessions and documentation
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • 2+ years of Payroll and HR experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • HRIS/HRMS system experience preferred
  • Great customer service skills
  • Detail oriented and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong technical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
