Responsibilities

Be inspired to enhance the patient experience, and join the exceptional team at Reading Hospital.  The Pharmacy Intern is a student enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy completing hour requirements necessary for the PharmD degree. The pharmacy intern will participate in advanced technician training and student clinical training provided by the Reading Hospital Department of Pharmacy. The pharmacy intern will provide collaborative pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, consistent service, and interactions with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams within the health system.  During the summer, the intern will work full time evening hours rotating weekend, holidays. During the rest of the school year the intern will work part time hours.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy completing hour requirements necessary for the PharmD degree

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have completed at least 1 Professional Year.
