The Pharmacy Technician participates in the preparation, dispensation, distribution, and return of patient-specific medications, including intravenous admixtures; maintains automated technology equipment; maintains and transports pharmaceuticals; and performs tasks associated with regulatory compliance.


A Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in his/her professional responsibilities in providing pharmacy services. Working under the direction of a licensed pharmacist, participates in the preparation, dispensing, distribution and return of patient specific medications including intravenous admixtures, supplies and maintains automated technology equipment, packages unit of use dosages, maintains and transports pharmaceuticals, and performs tasks associated with regulatory compliance. Documents activities as indicated and performs other duties as required.

Shift will rotate between 12:30pm-9pm and 2:30pm-11pm. Every other weekend and every other holiday are required. A generous shift differential and weekend differential are included. Join our Pharmacy team and be a part our financially incentivized career advancement program!


Education Requirements: *High School Diploma or GED (Required). Certification and Licensure Requirements: National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. 0-1 Year hospital pharmcy technician experience (Preferred). 1-3 Years Pharmacy technician experience (Preferred).  Technician Certification (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board required within 6 months of employment.  Required Skills: Excellent Communications Skills, Excellent  Interpersonal Skills, Multi Line Telephone Operational Skills, General computer skills including accurate and efficient entry and navigation in multiple software systems, ability to manage printers, packagers and automated dispensing machines, utilizing email, and navigating intranet and internet and other computer programs as indicated.
