BioMerieux has a position open for a Product Manager based in our Durham, NC location. The product manager will position bioMerieux Clinical as a leading player in a specified product area by setting, monitoring and implementing appropriate strategies and tactics in order to gain maximum market share.
Main Accountabilities: * Develops strategies, tools and tactics to drive growth, profitability, predictability for assigned products
* Manages and supports programs to ensure success of the product portfolio in the market including the development of all elements of the market mix.
* Manages product life cycle for assigned products
* Subject matter expert for assigned products
* Serves as technical expert for product launches
* Monitors product quality and availability, including forecasting
* Develops and implements training programs
* Assists in the RFP process
* Analyzes product trends and existing pricing structure
* Analyzes competition and defines competitive differentiators
* Accountabilities include supporting the Director in executing strategic and tactics, annual marketing plan process, business review meetings, and developing business area knowledge.
* Works closely with Global Marketing team and Sr. Marketing Manager, Blood Culture Solutions, US
* Interacts with customers and internal stakeholders, gathering insights to drive portfolio growth

Qualifications:

* BS/BA in marketing, science or related field; MBA desired
* 3+ years in product management, product marketing with diagnostics and/or medical device company
* Experience in product positioning and branding, as well as managing multiple product launches
* Strong presentation and analytical skills
* Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
* Passionate, high energy and results oriented with creative and analytical mind
