Job description
BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for managing and participating in thoroughly preparing and professionally
conducting training for new and existing clients utilizing a combination of virtual and in person
training programs; manage assigned staff and participate in the activities involved in providing
quality in person and virtual/webinar training for new and existing clients; as required, conduct
client product training for key clients; may be done virtually or in person depending on client
need; evaluate training methodology effectiveness, ensuring consistency of methods and
procedures and determining the necessity of revising training program format and curriculum;
ensure that all training materials adhere to training requirements and adequately support
established learning objectives from the assigned program/s; continually evaluate course content
for potential improvements that increase quality of training
MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Product Training Functions - Manage and participate in thoroughly preparing and
professionally conducting training for new and existing clients utilizing a combination of virtual
and in person training programs ensuring adherence with established corporate and departmental
policies and procedures
*Manage assigned staff and participate in the activities involved in providing quality in-person
and virtual/webinar training for new and existing clients
*As required, conduct client product training for key clients which may be done virtually or in
person depending on client need
*Provide train-the-trainer sessions to new and current client product training staff to ensure
changes and policies are accurately communicated
*Review and approve training schedules to ensure training classes are appropriately covered as
necessary
*Identify client needs and manage the development of project plans and timelines, determining
roles and responsibilities for designing and implementing training programs
*Keep product knowledge up-to-date to ensure clients achieve maximum product benefits

Job requirements

Applicant for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications.

Education

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in

education, communication, business administration, computer science, or a related field is

required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational

requirements.

Experience

* Minimum of four years' professional training or teaching experience required, which may

include public or private school experience, corporate training, quality assurance, coaching, or a

related training experience

* Minimum of two years lead or supervisory experience required

*Minimum 6 months virtual training or self-directed training development experience preferred

Other

*Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required

*Intermediate knowledge of virtual training solutions (e.g., Adobe, Connect, Webex, etc) is

preferred

*Experience with curriculum design and adult learning theory preferred

*25% to 30% travel may be required

*Occasionally may be asked to carry light items, weighing less than 15lbs (e.g. books, training

materials, copies) from desk to training location

*In general, this position frequently requires standing for sustained periods of time to present in

front of a classroom

*Presenter must have enough mobility to actively work and engage a room of learners
