What the Project Management, Transition Lead contributes to Cardinal Health

As a reliable and trusted business partner, a Transition Leader is required to build strong relationships with the business team, and drive business focused and contextually aligned conversations focused on outcomes, value & capabilities.


Accountabilities:

  • Manage expectations and gain relevant buy-in / ownership to drive the transformation agenda
  • Pro-actively identify and communicate risks, and co-create change solutions throughout the transformation period
  • Analyze and take corrective action to stay on track with business case commitments
  • Validate own ‘Viewpoint’ or leverage existing ‘Viewpoint’ to contextualize the transformation solutions to exceed business expectations and enhance value proposition
  • Develop the transformation blueprint / plan in line with the required change, including associated costs and intended benefits
  • Implement internal and external governance strategies (risks / issues / communication / compliance & controllership / knowledge / people / reporting etc.) creating a ‘zero surprise’ environment’
  • Manage the delivery of the various projects to create the relevant capabilities needed to achieve the business outcomes
  • Establish, implement, monitor and control change readiness strategies to transition from transformation management to steady-state operations in order to realize business outcomes
  • Foresee, assess, communicate and mitigate transformation risks
  • Collaborate and share transformation learnings for continuous improvements with the broader team
  • Understand digital tools & technologies


Qualifications:

  • Minimum Graduate degree, Post-graduation degree preferred, with 8-12 years of experience post graduation
  • Technical/ Digital background - Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI or equivalent certification preferred
  • Experience in leading and executing complex enterprise wide initiatives required
  • Transitions experience required
  • Knowledge of project management tools and technologies
  • Experience engaging in strategic and tactical discussions with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to ensure service focus across a complex people intensive and functionally-dispersed organization
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal & written, strong presentation skills
