Job description
Our organization is looking for a Purchasing Inventory Clerk to assist us with filling our internal inventory needs. You will report to the purchasing manager, negotiating the pricing of the raw materials, products, or supplies that we need to operate smoothly. You will create purchase orders and track the incoming items to help ensure that there will not be any unforeseen interruptions to production. You will also help reconcile inventory counts if there are any issues. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in logistics or previous supply chain experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Negotiate pricing of raw materials, products, or supplies
  • Create purchase orders
  • Track incoming orders
  • Reconcile inventory counts
  • Assist with other tasks assigned by the purchasing manager

Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Bachelor's degree or experience in supply chain management (preferred)
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with spreadsheet programs
  • Organizational skills
  • Time management skills
