QA Technician - 1st Shift - Woburn, MA
1st Shift - Monday thru Friday - 6 AM to 2:30 PM - some flexibility in start time!
TEMP TO HIRE - Eligible to earn a quarterly bonus after conversion to a full-time employee!
Pay rate - $23/hr

*Selects products and tests product for qualities such as dimensions and electrical properties.
*Records test data, applying (SPC) statistical quality control procedures as prescribed in the Quality Control manual.
*Evaluates data and records on the in-process sheets. Ensure red line and change control of in process documents and records.
*Notify the supervisor/team lead of any potential problems in the quality of the product.
*Issues Quality Alerts as required.
*Provides First Article Inspection Support.
*Document and complete both NCMR and CAR documents as required.
*Complete/coordinate annual forms as related to Quality, Supply Chain, HR and EHS.
*Supports internal quality audits.
*Supports continuous improvement through LEAN practices, including standard work and process documentation.
*Adhere to all safety regulations and quality requirements.
*Other duties and projects as required.
*Overtime as required
*High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
*Minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a quality capacity.
*Preferred Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
*Working knowledge of various inspection tools/equipment (VMM, Verniers, Mutli-Meters)
*Working knowledge of quality standards (ISO, AS, IATF) is preferred
*Proficient with Computer skills
*Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
*Ability to work with others and meet tight timelines
*Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus!*Must be a US Citizen or have US Permanent Resident Status.
