The Cath Lab RNFA will also be a part of a revolutionary Heart and Vascular Center that has pioneered many procedures including ablation therapies to valve repairs/replacement, and even permanent implementation of ventricular assist devices.

The Cath Lab RNFA will be exposed to a number of services within the department including coronary angiography, left ventriculography, right-heart catherization, measurement of intracardiac pressures, complex intracoronary stenting, intravascular ultrasounds, rotational coronary atherectomy, angiojet and other kinds of thrombectomy, intercoronary flow measurements, optical coherence tomography, mitral/aortic/pulmonic valvuloplasty procedures, mitral repairs, and percutaneous aortic valve replacements. The Cath Lab RNFA will work directly alongside the cardiac surgeon to provide quality patient care and they will work as a collaborative colleague with the perioperative teams.
