About This Position

Keefe Group, the market leader in supply and commissary services to the corrections industry, seeks a Regional Inventory Manager for our Northeast Region to work from our Edison, NJ distribution center.  Qualifications:Take Charge, independent professional with exceptional communications and interpersonal skills.  Must be able to work across all levels and departments within the company and with multiple locations throughout the Northeast.  Must be willing to travel 25%.

At least 2 years end-user experience with Inventory Systems with specific knowledge of WMS, Inventory Costing, Cycle Counting, & Wave Planning applications.  Oracle, SAP and/or BI reporting experience a plus. 

Strong Excel, Database & reporting skills.  Extensive hands-on experience researching, reconciling & adjusting inventory. Solid mathematical aptitude -accounting background a plus. 

Prior experience in developing & implementing Inventory Control policies & procedures and training.

Previous experience managing warehouse/office staff.

Hours are 8 am – 5 pm, M-F.  We offer a competitive salary and benefits. 


What You'll Need

  • Minimum of Five years full time experience with inventory control in warehouse distribution of food & sundries.
  • Hands-on comprehensive experience with Oracle Inventory & WMS
  • Above Average  Performance Record in previous jobs
  • Superior Math & PC/Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook & Excel a must). 
  • Excellent Verbal & Writing Skills
  • Willing to work evenings & weekends during peak periods as necessary
  • Must be willing to travel
