Responsibilities

The cardiac catheterization registered nurse is a certified professional primarily specializing in the monitoring of physiological data received during cardiac catheterization, performing as scrub assistant, performing as circulating assistant, and utilizing radiological equipment as necessary. The RN Administers medications under the direct supervision of the physician and within hospital guidelines.

Qualifications

Recent critical care nursing experience of at least 2 years.

Graduate of an approved professional RN program leading to a diploma, Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing required.

Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania. Current AHA BLS and ACLS. Completion of Critical Care Course and Dysrhythmia course required. IV Certification preferred. ANA certification preferred. RCIS preferred.
