As a part of the cardiovascular surgical team, the Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse will be working on primarily open heart surgeries, in addition to some general cath lab and electrophysiology procedures. The Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse will be required to effectively deliver perioperative care to the surgical patient, and coordinates with an entire team of specialists to provide extraordinary care. Lead by the Cardiac Operating Room Nurse Manager, the Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse will be required to participate in continuing education and learning experiences.
The ideal candidate for the Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse will have at least 3 years of previous experience in a perioperative services department and hold a current nursing license in the state. A CNOR certification is preferred. The CVOR Nurse will receive a competitive salary package, along with a sign on bonus and benefits.
