Job description

Our IR nurses perform complex neuro interventions (aneurysm coiling) and assist with stroke cases in a brand new, state-of-the-art T1 Biplane room, as well as work in the hybrid OR on trauma cases. Exposure to high-intensity cases, such as trauma and transplant, provides IR RNs with the opportunity to expand skillsets


Responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care to patients undergoing a variety of procedures in our comprehensive, progressive Cardiac Vascular Interventional Radiology Department utilizing state of the art technology to perform a variety of procedures. Primary focus will be on Interventional Radiology procedures which include, but not limited to, vertebroplasty, uterine artery and chemo embolization, biopsies, implantable venous access, dialysis interventions, and radio frequency ablation. The RN will perform comprehensive patient care, moderate sedation and assessment both pre and post procedure. This position requires on call. Position involves rotating between prep and recovery to invasive procedure rooms.



Recent critical care nursing experience of at least 2 years is preferred; ACLS certification and experience with moderate sedation; PA RN License; Graduate of an accredited nursing school; A team player with excellent communication skills is highly desired.
