Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for and overseeing of the accounting for fringe, bonus, health insurance, workers compensation, severance and restructuring. The Senior is responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of the ledger accounts and financial statements in compliance with Company and US GAAP standards. The candidate must be highly analytical, able to work in a fast paced environment, and be able to problem solve.
  • Senior will be responsible for reviewing some journal entries, account reconciliations and month-end reporting schedules of the staff and senior accountant in Thane. This position will also prepare certain month-end schedules for Financial Reporting, assist in developing forecasts, as well as other duties as assigned.

Scope of Job

Complex accounting activities and financial analyses. Broad accounting knowledge providing training and guidance to less experienced accounting staff.

Handling a broad range of compensation balance sheet accounts and payroll processes.


Limited supervision, exercising considerable discretion and independent judgement. Coordinates more complex accounting matters with other departments and divisions.

  • The ideal candidate is a well-rounded accounting professional who has a great attitude, is eager to learn and is constantly striving for system and process improvements. • BS degree Accounting, CPA preferred or eligible • 3-5 years accounting experience is required • Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills required • Flexible and Adaptable • Demonstrated analytical skills, problem solving abilities and attention to detail are required • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines • Advanced knowledge with various PC applications (ie., Excel, Word, Access) • Advanced knowledge with accounting applications: Oracle 12i and HFM preferred
