Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work as a liaison between customers, members, internal employees, patients, providers, pharmacists, etc. 70% phone work 30% project work and research
  • Consult with customers, members, patients, providers, internal departments and / or external third parties on any or all of the following: Consult with and coordinate initial set up and on - going treatment plan for specialty drug patients, including DURs, co - pay assistance, ancillary products, scheduling Pharmacist consults and / or RN visits, and liaison with provider offices on labs, refill orders and prior authorizations
  • Work with Client Relations Managers as patient liaison for possible benefit discrepancies and other escalated issues
  • Advise patients on alternate Rx fill strategies of retail versus mail order and options for financial assistance
  • May outreach to providers on suspected medication abuse situations
  • Must be able to work between the business hours of 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Monday - Friday, and Sundays from 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma / GED (or higher)
  • Experience with the following programs is required: ScriptMed, IRIS, Sharepoints, FAQ, WWIKT
  • Must be able to work between the business hours of 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Monday - Friday, and Sundays from 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM 
  • Previous resend and override training
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows including Microsoft Excel (ability to create spreadsheets sort and filter data) and Microsoft Power Point (ability to create presentations and upload data)

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent Customer Service skills
