What Field Service contributes to Cardinal Health

Field Service is responsible managing the success of the relationship with an assigned set of customers in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health. Responsible for identifying, quantifying, qualifying, tracking, and evaluating customer pain points and, for facilitating, developing, designing and implementing processes that improve overall customer experience. Act as customer advocate and liaison back into Cardinal Health organization (field sales, customer service, implementation, contracts.


What is Optifreight Logistics? We save our customers money on shipments they’re already receiving today by providing a full service freight management program dedicated to reducing healthcare freight costs.


Accountabilities

  • Advise laboratory and pharmacy customers on shipping and program-related needs to support the achievement of freight-management goals.
  • Collaborate with sales and implementation to ensure smooth transition from the sales cycle for the customer
  • Coordinate client business reviews to evaluate performance on the OptiFreight program and assess opportunities for spend reduction and volume growth.
  • Work with internal partners including Sales, Implementation and New Channel Development, to identify opportunities for enhancement in internal processes and to create Lean solutions that improve the client experience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and develop value-added services including: channel-specific reporting, shipping platform enhancements and shipment intervention initiatives.
  • Create strategy to develop and grow relationships with new and base accounts.
  • Manage current laboratory and pharmacy customers on the OptiFreight Program
  • Develop relationships internally and externally to achieve business results
  • Retain and grow base customer account volume
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with sales and implementation to ensure smooth transition from the sales cycle for the customer
  • Complete projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years experience preferred
  • Familiarity working in Lab or Pharmacy channels preferred
  • Customer Service experience or Customer facing background
  • Strong communication skills
