What will I be doing?
A BanquetServer is responsible for delivering and serving food and/or beverage items ina friendly, courteous and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction. Specifically,you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the higheststandards:
Setbanquet tables to meet the function specifications.
Carrytrays up to 50 lbs. Serves food, beverage and condiments/accompaniments to banquetand function clientele in a friendly and courteous manner to ensure guestsatisfaction. Delivers dirty china, silver and glassware to kitchen stewardsarea.
Quietlyremoves china, glassware and silverware from tables at the end of the meal period.
Set/displayfood and beverages on buffet tables for delivery to function guests requiring buffetservice. Requires pushing large wheeled tables to and from the function roomarea. Serves guests and clears tables. Delivers dirty china, silver andglassware to kitchen stewards area.
What arewe looking for?
High Schoolgraduate or equivalent preferred.
Previousfood service experience required.
Food ServiceSanitation certification. Alcohol Server Permit (if required).
All teammembers must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specificstandards available).
Meet minimumage requirements for jurisdiction.

Theindividual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and beable to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essentialfunctions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Musthave basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards,guest relations and etiquette.
Knowledgeof the appropriate table settings, serviceware and menu items. Some wineknowledge.
Abilityto read, speak and write the English language in order to communicate withguests.
Abilityto remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
Abilityto transport up to 80 lbs. on a continuous basis.
Abilityto operate beverage and toast equipment.
