DCS is seeking a Software Developer to support the Weaponeering and Stores Planning Common Component (WASP CC) software development effort. This positions work location is flexible. It can be performed remotely or in the Lexington Park office, or even hybrid. 

Essential Job Functions:

Perform software development on part of a SAFe Agile team.

Perform requirements analysis of software requirement specifications.

Design and develop software components, user interfaces, and automated tests.

Take ownership and responsibility for software products being developed.

Work closely with project management, scrum master, teammates and the customer maintaininig a positive working relationship.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience is required.

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance within 6-9 months of hire date.

Experience with one or more of the following technologies in developing Windows applications: C++, C#, WPF.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work with a geographically-distributed team.

Desired Skills:

Knowledge and familiarity with Azure DevOps.

Knowledge and familiarity with automated testing tools (MS Test, NUnit, xUnit).

Knowledge and understanding of mission planning needs of military aviators.
