This position is responsible for developing web and windows applications and services using Microsoft C#.NET. This position requires working with project leadership to perform project analysis, determining functional and technical business requirements, developing code, testing and deploying applications. Candidate will interact with internal technical and non-technical teams and must have outstanding technical capabilities in database and application development using .NET stack, database design, and Windows networking. This position also provides assistance with on-going production support activities after implementation.
-Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field) and 5 years of database/ ETL development experience using SQL Server and SSIS technologies or a Master’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field) with 3 years of database/ ETL development experience using SQL Server and SSIS technologies
-T-SQL development experience - 6+ years
-SSIS development experience - 6+ years
-Reporting/data analysis – 6+ years
-Fuzzy matching and Grouping (must have)
-Extensive knowledge of Replication
-Data analysis, data mapping, data migration, writing specifications for system interfaces
-Optimization of indexes
-Optimization of stored procedures
-Stored procedure and function scripting as required to support projects/tasks
-Database performance tuning
-MSSQL Database Administrator experience required +5 years
-Oversight of database design and the enforcement of companywide usage of SQL best practices and development standards
-Work with other database administrators, developers, technical analysts, architects, and project management teams to refine the application design requirements based on customer’s business needs
-Create ad hoc SQL queries – customer reports, executive management reports
-Must be local to the area, candidate has to report to an office
-Provide estimates of effort required to design and develop solutions
-Work with the development teams to implement, test, and support the deployment of solutions
-Provide status updates to management on project items
-Assist with internal customer support and troubleshooting
-Analyze and diagnose application problems
-Excellent communication skills, oral and written (technical and non-technical)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Analyze, design, develop and maintain ETL/SSIS applications that service internal and external vendor and client systems aligning with the business needs.
-Create detailed specification documents based on business requirements.
-Develop quick prototypes for business stakeholder verification to use as a foundation for design/development solutions.
-Create and execute testing plans and procedures.
-Automate processes using software tools and scripts.
-Manage system enhancements and upgrades.
-Participate in latest technology research applicable to meet new business challenges.
-Provide guidance, mentoring, education, and leadership on how to effectively create and support the applications.
-Follow best practices for technology and business level technology implementation.
-Conduct system architecture reviews to guarantee corporate alignment.
-Conduct code level and other systems quality assurance tests and procedures.
-Experience with enterprise architecture tools such as MS SQL Server Management Tools, source control, defect tracking, integration, and workflow tools.
