DCS Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer who supports the design, development, implementation, and documentation for systems engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for mission critical systems.
Essential Job Functions:
Participate and assist in the coordination of the systems engineering integrated product team and other technical forums at the PEO and subordinate agency level. Maintain the evolving systems architecture. Coordinate with program, project and product management offices to assess the efficacy of the engineering and integration processes.
Provides independent support for the transformation of the Army and the fielding of digitized information infrastructures to the active and reserve components, including: analysis of user requirements, preparation of plans and associated documentation, conducting test and demonstration events, multi-organization coordination, performing risk assessments, and executing similar activities relevant to systems engineering and integration.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's and 5 years experience.
Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance within 6-9 months of start date.
Familiarity with modern software engineering practices including Agile, Lean, microservices-based architecture, application virtualization and model-based systems engineering.
A minimum of four years' experience developing application and/or systems software in java, C++ or similar high-level lanaguage.
Experience developing systems documentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
