What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health


Account Management is responsible for cultivating and maintaining on-going customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity. Provides product service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships.


Field Service

Field Service is responsible managing the success of the relationship with an assigned set of customers in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health. Responsible for identifying, quantifying, qualifying, tracking, and evaluating customer pain points and, for facilitating, developing, designing and implementing processes that improve overall customer experience. Act as customer advocate and liaison back into Cardinal Health organization (field sales, customer service, implementation, contracts).


Accountabilities in this role

  • Facilitates the relationship between Cardinal Health and HCA
  • Collaborates with the customer to provide process improvements
  • Interacts with inventory management and operations team on a daily basis
  • Supports Accounts Receivable and Purchasing onsite at Richmond HCA Consolidated Service Center (CSC)
  • Point of contact for pricing, delivery and product knowledge while on site

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2-4 years experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
