Essential Job Functions:
Functions include but not limited to:
Participate in requirements development.
Interface with internal and external customers.
Produce requirements artifacts.
Develop system architecture, ICD, and compliance verification matrix.
Characterize and measure system performance.
Coordinate and oversee systems engineering processes throughout product development life cycle.
Plans tasks and schedules.
Manages resources and budgets.
Manage supplier component development projects.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
BS degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other Engineering discipline.
Minimum of eight years of relevant work experience with ground vehicles.
Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and system level design and the ability to develop system level requirements and design artifacts.
Experience developing system and subsystem level requirements and designs for hardware and software implementations.
Experience working with ground vehicle equipment: computers, network switches, radio communications, power supplies, wire harnesses, and other equipment.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Proficient with use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint).
Basic Project Management or technical project leadership experience.
Able to travel occasionally for domestic destinations in support of the program; potential for international travel.
Continual employment will be contingent upon obtaining secret clearance.
Experience/familiar with ground vehicle equipment including engine control unit, transmission, CAN Bus, Li-ion batteries, HVAC system, and other vehicle components.
Experience/familiar with motor drives, inverters, generators, and power electronics.
Experience working on high voltage high power equipment.
Experience with ruggedized COTS and military grade equipment.
Experience performing Systems Engineering throughout product development life cycle.
Experience managing technical projects.
