Job description

Intrado is looking for a Senior Tier 1 Support Specialist to add to its team in Longmont, CO. The core focus of this position will be responsible for providing initial response and troubleshooting for customer related issues in adherence to departmental policies and procedures; perform lead tasks to include advanced Tier I troubleshooting and resolution, database and network monitoring, and external customer support; provide assistance to assigned co-workers, providing support and answering questions as necessary; prepare and distribute a variety of metrics reports; participate in the activities associated with a variety of departmental projects including preparing reports, material, documentation, and coordinating tasks

Job requirements

Education 
•High school diploma or GED required.




Experience

•Minimum 3 years customer service experience required, preferably in a helpdesk environment.  Minimum 1-year experience in the 9-1-1 or public safety industry preferred





Technical
•Basic knowledge of PC Hardware, DOS, and Windows NT, Windows 9 x, and UNIX preferred.




Other
•Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
May be required to work varying shifts.
