Roth Staffing is looking for a System Engineer-II within the insurance industry for our client in Orange County, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global leader in insurance with a strong corporate culture and competitive pay.
Design and implement PowerShell scripts to automate a wide variety of server/infrastructure/repeated tasks/processes, strengthening departmental audit capabilities
Create and maintain documentation
Analyze requirements, provide robust time and effort estimation
Develop, test, deploy PowerShell scripts and cmdlets based on business requirements
Provide administrative functions to include account management, resource monitoring, system backups, and restoration, read and edit PowerShell scripts
Create PowerShell scripts to automate Windows and Linux server build process and integrate with ServiceNow and various other areas
Administer Windows SCCM environment including automating patch management
Serving as a DevOps subject matter expert for the organization and mentoring team members on DevOps principles.
Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines)
Experience should include:
Strong advanced PowerShell programming/development skills
Running PowerShell in Azure & AWS
PowerShell scripting, task automation, and configuration, including interaction with API
Develop and implement PowerShell to automate support functions as part of process improvement
Used PowerShell for daily operations such as monitoring servers, databases and configuration management
Works with an automation mindset. Proven expertise in the use and creation of PowerShell scripts.
AWS and/or Azure experience.
Experience with Windows, Linux, and VMware operating environments.
Ansible automation experience is a big plus
Windows SCCM and SQL experience
