This position is in direct support of the Air Force Common Computing Environment (CCE) with development activities in the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Common Services environment. This innovative task is through the Global Combat Support System - Air Force (GCSS-AF) 2 contract vehicle. Team members will collaborate on all activities to support systems engineering, integration, software capability/maintenance and related support services. Team members will be encouraged to adopt and implement industry-best practices and encouraged to explore the latest technology and most efficient practices.

Specific responsibilities include:
•Install, administer, and maintain Windows, Solaris and RHEL servers.
•Install, administer and maintain virtual environments and physical hosts as well as storage devices (NAS, SAN).
•Perform account maintenance, data integrity, and file system security for the desktop environment.
•Implement, and manage disaster recovery and COOP plans, systems, and operations.
•Basic network troubleshooting in support of the datacenter and workstation/LAN connectivity.
•Collect, review, and store server log files to identify and remediate system issues.
•Document system configurations and propose and/or implement system changes.
•Apply security patches, IAVAs, STIGS, and updates (including operating system updates) for all assigned systems.
•Mentor, lead, and train junior technicians as directed.
•Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
•Proficient in designing and implementing an IT infrastructure
•5 Years of Solaris system administration experience
•5 years of Windows system administration experience
•Security+ or higher certification
•Oracle Application Level Knowledge
•Experience in capacity management processes and tools
•Understanding and knowledge of DoD systems and in particular DISA
•Experience in commercial cloud environments (AWS, OMCS)
•Experience in platform migration
•Experience in cloud migration
•Experience in Agile development
HS diploma and 6+ years of relevant experience or
BS degree and 3+ years of relevant experience or
Masters degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
