Provide high level subject matter expertise in systems engineering activities to ensure the customer program is compliant with program requirements and objectives, interoperability requirements, configuration management requirements, and similar Program-Wide responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions:
Serves as an expert and assists lower-grade personnel and provides technical guidance and information to meet requirements. Review, assist and mentor lower-grade employee’s work for quality, accuracy of work. Scope of responsibility includes:
Leadership and Education, Personnel and Facilities (DOTMLPF) efforts.
Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and Cyber Capability Integration and Development System (CCIDS).
System and/or software integration.
Interoperability with various Command, Control, and Communications (C3) systems.
Technical or operational testing.
Sustainment and refreshment of capabilities.
Planning and strategy meetings.
Program review and coordination meetings.
General systems engineering, systems implementation planning and system test and evaluation services.
Prepare specifications, plans, analyses, modeling, simulations and reports.
Review engineering output in the areas of systems level operation and maintenance procedures, performance improvements criteria, tools assessments, metrics management, quality assurance, configuration management, technical orders, and maintenance practices.
Conduct systems engineering trade-off analysis.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
PhD plus 12 years, Masters degree plus 15 years, or Bachelors degree plus19 years of relevant experience required.
A minimum of 12 years of experience in systems engineering including system design, requirements and interface definition, integration and test.
Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
Experience with electronic warfare, signal intelligence and/or cyber warfare systems.
Familiarity with US Army missions and major weapons systems.Experience with national Cybersecurity policies, IA standard security principles, standards and industry best practices.
Experience supporting DoDI 8510.01 (Risk Management Framework for DoD IT).
Experience in DoD assessment and authorization processes and procedures.
Familiarity with DoD major system acquisition processes.
