This is an opportunity to join the fast-paced world of engineering next generation combat vehicles and watercraft systems for the U.S. Army. Working as a DCS employee in Littleton, Massachusetts, you will manage projects, perform systems engineering tasks, and support the U.S. Army Ground Vehicle System Center’s next generation of autonomous ground vehicles and watercrafts.
Essential Job Functions (not limited to):
Lead requirements development activities.
Interface with internal and external customers.
Produce requirements artifacts.
Develop system architecture, ICD, and compliance verification matrix.
Characterize and measure system performance.
Coordinate and oversee systems engineering processes throughout product development life cycle (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
Plans tasks and schedules.
Manages resources and budgets.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
BS degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other Engineering discipline.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience with ground vehicles.
Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and system level design and the ability to develop system level requirements and design artifacts.
Experience developing system and subsystem level requirements and designs for hardware and software implementations.
Experience working with two or more of these COTS equipment: computers, network switches, radio communications, power supplies, wire harnesses, and other equipment.
Proficient with use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint).
Basic Project Management or technical project leadership experience.
Able to travel occasionally for domestic destinations in support of the program; potential for international travel.
Experience with shipboard equipment: computers, network switches, radio communications, power supplies, wire harnesses, and other equipment.
Experience with ruggedized COTS and military grade equipment.
Experience with AutoCAD, SysML, MagicDraw, MS Project, Matlab/Simulink, and DOORS or similar tool.
Experience managing projects.
Experience in the systems engineering, development and operation of Ground Vehicle Systems.
Experience performing Systems Engineering throughout product development life cycle following a gate stage process.
