Job Duties include but not limited to: 
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of all staff member
  • Ensure compliance by all staff with Fair Housing rules and regulations
  • Perform daily inspections of the property and annual inspections of each unit
  • Address safety and security concerns at the property
  • Perform market comparable studies to ensure that rents are in line with market conditions
  • Promote resident retention and resolve resident issues
  • Ensure resident compliance with the lease an all property rules and regulations
  • Oversee leasing and lease renewal processes, the rental collection process, delinquencies, marketing activities, supply and equipment inventory and ordering and processing of move-ins and move-outs
  • Oversee maintenance, preventative maintenance and capital improvement projects at the property
  • Works with the Regional Manager and the corporate office on annual budget development and monitoring, and control of accounts receivable and payable
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, knowledge of the section 8 program required and tax credit program to ensure compliance
  • Fluent in spoken and written English required, Spanish a PLUS
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, late fees, commissions, proportions, and percentages
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to use Property Management software (such as One-Site); internet software, and spreadsheet and word processing software
  • Individuals should have or be willing to obtain various certificates and licenses related to the job and/or required by the property
