Job Title: Team Lead, Senior Software Developer (Python) - San Francisco Bay, California
Location: Sunnyvale - United States

Description
The Engineering team develops a range of complex automated test systems to help our customers test and validate their products. Renowned for providing accurate measurements and results, fast data throughput, and acute data integrity, while accelerating design cycles and reducing prototyping costs.

Responsibilities
Technical Management responsibilities:
Be a single point of contact for the customer onsite for project execution
Regularly communicate with the customer on the status of all projects/Decisions/Recommendations
Manage Core Software Team member resources across all projects / Get regular updates from all Core Team members
Scale resources accordingly as needs change across projects
Work with a customer in performance evaluation of Core Team members
Deal with personnel/resource issues

Technical responsibilities:
Work with the customer to scope out new projects and understand project roadmap
Understand Core Team members' skillset to appropriate assign to projects
Code review on projects as members submit changes for review
Facilitate software architectural decisions on new projects
Manage individual projects as needed / Make individual contributions on projects as needed
Support deployed test systems

Requirements
Degree: A bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.

Experienced: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in software development. Technical program management (TPM) experience is a plus.
Proficient: Understanding of software engineering architecture and development. Strong Python is required.
Management/team player: Strong interpersonal skills, able to take ownership for projects given by the client, can be managed by objectives alone, but skilled at escalating issues when necessary. Proven capabilities with great influence.
Multilingual: Fluent in English written & spoken.
