Job description

Core Responsibilities: 

  • NC Machining operation for manufacturing of dies and fixtures
  • Programming of CNC machines for above (Work NC preferred)
  • Determines sequencing of machining operations for dies and fixtures
  • Works with engineering on tool designs
  • Determines repair methods for dies and fixtures
  • Performs a wide variety of machining operations requiring difficult setups and methods to maintain very close tolerances
  • Constructs, repairs, fits and assembles tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges to ensure correct fits and proper operations
  • Makes necessary tool tryouts and diagnoses and corrects problems
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Must be proficient in the operation and programming of CNC mills

•         Must be proficient with computer systems, including office software and ERP systems

  • Experience using a wide variety of hand and power tools including grinders, saws, drill presses, milling machines, boring machines and lathes is preferred
  • Shall have experience with a wide variety of measuring and inspection devices
  • Shall be able to work independently
  • Shall be able to pay exceptional attention to detail
  • Shall be able to handle multiple tasks effectively and complete assignments accurately and on time

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
