Job description

Minimum of 5 years related Warehouse Supervisory experience

• Knowledge of warehouse management principles including coordination of people and resources, Shipping & Receiving procedures, cycle counting and inventory reconciliation

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles a plus

Skills and Specifications:

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills

• Able to meet deadlines and excel in a high paced manufacturing environment

• Ability to motivate, influence and mentor employees

• Able to successfully interact with customers, suppliers, and co-workers

• 5-10 years experience in an assembly environment

• Excellent communication skills including verbal, interpersonal, and written

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications a plus

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse according to OSHA standards

• Direct workflow to satisfy production requirements efficiently with customer satisfaction being primary

• Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency. Supervise, organize, direct, and train warehouse personnel while establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals

• Implement and manage cycle count program ensuring inventory accuracy. Reconcile inventory counts

• Develop warehouse operational systems; determining product handling and storage requirements, inventory management, shipping and receiving

• Train and manage team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals

• Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics

• Review and prepare workflow, manpower and space requirements and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met

• Ability to implement lean objectives in the daily operations and employee culture

• Coordinate customer shipments and supplier receipts
